There are many ways you can be involved in helping us fulfill our mission:

VOLUNTEER

We encourage you to participate in cleaning up your local community--just pick up a few bits of discarded refuse (cigarette butts, styrofoam, bottle caps, paper coffee cups, etc.) along your next walk.  We'll also announce opportunities to clean up alongside Clear Waterways on our "News" page.

DONATE

Clear Waterways Org. has been a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit since 2014, and exists through the generous support of people like you who care deeply about the health of our waterways and shorelines. There is no time like the present for us to come together to work on a sustainable future.

 

Donations are tax deductible, and all donations of $25 or more will receive a custom "clean-up" kit (by request) consisting of a custom sewn recycled canvas bag and picker.  See the General Store for details about these and other items we offer to our donors.

EDUCATE

We strive to educate our community and instill a passion for preservation within the younger generation.  It is thrilling to see kids and parents working together to create goals for the lifelong care of our waterways and beaches.  Contact us if you'd like some ideas for engaging kids in clean-up activities, and watch our News page for local opportunities for learning and participation.

 

PARTNER

Clear Waterways Org. has always supported advocacy and community partnerships, galvanizing volunteers who help to clean up local beaches, streams, and drainage areas in Santa Barbara and beyond.  Partnerships give us the ability to reach further and achieve more together. Some of our past partnerships have involved the exchange of materials or labor to make wonderful new successes happen. Contact us if you'd like to partner with Clear Waterways on a short- or long-term project!
